Voting in the 2017 Wikimedia Foundation election for Board of Trustees has started. Votes will be accepted until May 14, one minute before midnight (UTC), although as usual, it’s good to allow some time for unforeseen complications.
The Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees currently has ten members. Four members are appointed by the board, two members are elected by affiliate organizations, one seat is reserved for Jimmy Wales, and the three remaining seats are elected by the community at large. The current election will choose the three community seats.
